Pumpkin Carving – The Unfinished Project
I am sure glad I didn’t throw away this video! Instead I found a great pumpkin carving video!
I started to carve this pumpkin around 7:00 P.M. and between carving, having dinner with the family, and other chores around the house, before I knew it, it was midnight! I was tired and worst, I had to get up early the next morning. That’s when I decided to shut the camera off and end this project. It would be my one and only unfinished pumpkin. I would throw it away in the morning and call it good.
The next day, I got up early, went to work. Around mid-morning I received a call from my wife who proceeded to tell me about my youngest son, who was two years old at the time, and his way of fixing my unfinished pumpkin by carving a huge hole on the unfinished side. I guess this project has been really scrapped for good, I thought and laughed it off.
Fortunately for me, I did save the video footage in my computer’s hard drive and left it there simply calling it “Pumpkin”. I came across it a few days ago and looked through some of the raw video and I thought there was actually enough video to make a decent short video about my unfinished pumpkin project I started many months before.
Today I sat in front of my computer and went to work on it. By learning a few new editing tricks and by adding a nice little jingle to it, a nice little video emerged out of a pumpkin who was meant to go to the trash and say no more! Not today! He wanted to speak to those of us who sometimes give up too quick, and say that sometimes there is great lemon juice out of very sour lemons.
I hope everyone enjoys this video! I had a great time carving it, and definitely editing the video. Please let me know what you think of it by adding comments below, and as always I will leave links to the tools I use. I know a lot of people are interested in what tools are best for the job, and I certainly want you guys have the best tools to carve the best pumpkins.
